The process of losing muscle and gaining fat can begin as early as your mid-30s.  As we reach 50, 60, 70 and beyond, more than 80% of Americans have too little muscle and too much fat and this contributes directly to a loss of independence as we age.

My name is Darvis Simms.  I’m an ACE certified personal trainer with over 28 years of experience. I also set a New World Record with a 552 lb deadlift at the age of 63.  Even in my 20s, I wasn’t able to lift that much weight.
